Independent Living programs

Carpentaria’s Independent Living program provides person-centred support and accommodation to enable people with a disability to access and enjoy a safe, comfortable and fulfilling life in their home and in the community.

Carpentaria’s Transitional Accommodation program provides medium-term accommodation and person-centred supports, while participants prepare for their longer-term accommodation arrangements.

Short Term Accommodation is offered to families of children or adults with disabilities and high support needs, providing short periods of time in a home setting with peers and skilled Independent Living Coaches.
