Carpentaria is currently recruiting:

  • Senior Manager, Independent Living Services – as part of Carpentaria’s Executive team, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this role is essential in ensuring the development and delivery of contemporary, person centred models of support across Carpentaria’s independent living services. The role is responsible for leading and managing a team supporting approximately 175 independent living and skill development coaches across multiple locations, providing a range of services to ensure people with disabilities are supported to live their best life.   • Independent Living Coach, Accommodation Services – a number of dynamic roles in Carpentaria’s Accommodation Services team are now available. Independent Living Coaches are responsible for supporting participants to acquire independent living skills and reach their potential at home and in the community. A requirement of this role is completion of the following relevant certificates and qualifications:

      • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (forms.pfes.nt.gov.au/safent/)
      • NDIS Worker Orientation module (training.ndiscommission.gov.au)
      • Police check (within the past 6 months)
      • First Aid and CPR certificate
      • Working with Children Check (Ochre card)
      • Driver’s Licence
      • Evidence of relevant qualifications
      • Evidence of Australian work rights (current visa or birth certificate)

 

  • Physiotherapist – as part of a dynamic and growing multi-disciplinary team, this role is responsible for planning, delivering and evaluating person-centred Physiotherapy services that deliver choice and control to NDIS and other participants, and meet participant plan goals for the NDIS and other schemes.
