The 2017 Disability Services Awards have been announced and Carpentaria’s Early Childhood Developmental Service, Carpentaria Kids and Supported Independent Living Coordinator, Kiana Fiorenza have been recognised for their outstanding work to improve the lives of Territorians with disability.
Carpentaria Kids won the Excellence in Improving Learning and Development award, which recognised the innovative relationship-based approach of this multi-disciplinary team of Allied Health therapists.
Kiana Fiorenza was awarded Highly Commended in the Emerging Leader category, recognising her commitment to explore options to improve participant outcomes, increase participant independence and provide support as participants work towards their goals.
